Lagos PDP Commiserates With Party's Ex-Deputy Governorship Candidate, Safurat Abdulkareem, Over Husband's Death
The Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commiserated with the family of Alhaja Safurat Abdulkareem, the party's deputy governorship candidate in the state in 2003 and 2015 on the death of her husband, Wing Commander Abdulkadir Balarabe Abdulkareem, the Bobajiroro of Sibiri and Ekunpa Land in Lagos State.

Hakeem Amode added in a statement dated February 6, 2023 that; "We are sure Wing Commander Abdulkadir Balarabe Abdulkareem was a gentleman officer, a man of excellent qualities and had lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation and so in death we should celebrate him for the indelible marks he left behind, especially his contributions to the development of shibiri and Ekunpa Land.
"His legacies as Chief Bobajiroro and his charitable life will keep him alive in the minds of those who love him and those he inspired particularly, his children, friends and relations.
"On behalf of the gubernatorial candidate of our Party in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran – Jandor, the party Executives and members of Peoples Democratic Party – PDP in the state, please accept our heartfelt condolence.
