Lagos PDP Is Solidly Behind Atiku, Purported Campaign For Obi Is Hatchet Job-JANDOR
The Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR) has condemned a viral video in which some individuals in branded PDP uniforms were seen campaigning for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.
JANDOR stated that the action, carried out by some unidentified individuals in the party uniforms, did not in any way represent the position of the Lagos PDP in the forthcoming presidential election.
He noted in a press releases signed by the Head, Media and Communications
JANDOR4GOVERNOR Campaign Organization, Mr. Gbenga Ogunleye and dated February 18, 2023 that his ongoing campaign tour of the 245 wards in the state has always "emphasised on the importance of voting for the PDP Presidential Candidate, H.E. Atiku Abubakar and the fact that Atiku's electoral victory will brighten his chances at the Guber election in the state."
"Dr. Adediran disassociated himself from such condemnable anti-party activity and promised that the perpetrator if by any chance are confirmed to be party members, will be sanctioned.
"He however enjoined all Lagos PDP members and the good people of the state to ignore the said video and remain resolute on their conviction to change the government at the federal level by voting massively for Atiku/Okowa ticket which promises to rescue the nation from the current hardship," Ogunleye stated.
