City Boy Movement Lagos Hails Tinubu 2027 Campaign Council Appointments ...Congratulates Lagos Leaders On New Roles
The City Boy Movement, Lagos State Chapter, has congratulated prominent Lagos leaders appointed into various strategic positions in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general election.
The movement described the appointments as a recognition of the competence, experience, loyalty, and political contributions of Lagos sons and leaders who have continued to support the vision and leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Among those celebrated are:
Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila
Deputy Director-General, Administration
The former Speaker of the House of Representatives and current Chief of Staff to the President was appointed to coordinate administrative activities within the campaign council.
Hon. James Abiodun Faleke
Deputy Director-General, Election Planning, Coordination and Monitoring
The Ikeja Federal Constituency representative was saddled with a key responsibility for coordinating election planning strategies, monitoring, and mobilisation efforts.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu
South-West Zonal Campaign Coordinator
The Lagos State Governor was appointed to lead campaign coordination efforts across the South-West region, reflecting his leadership role within the zone.
Hon. Dele Alake
Director, Policy and Manifesto Development / Media and Strategic Communication Coordinator
The veteran journalist and presidential aide was assigned responsibilities covering policy direction, manifesto development and strategic communication.
Hon. Bayo Onanuga
Coordinating Director, Media/Strategic Communication
The respected media professional and presidential aide was named among the officials responsible for media and communication strategy.
Dr. Muiz Adeyemi Banire, SAN
Director, Legal Directorate
The Lagos APC chieftain and legal expert was appointed to lead the legal affairs component of the campaign council.
Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe
Zonal Director, Youth Mobilization South-West.
The youthful Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government and Lagos State Chapter Director of City Boy Movement was appointed for the youth engagement and mobilization across the South-West regions of Nigeria.
The City Boy Movement Lagos State Chapter also recognises the contributions of other Lagos political leaders who continue to provide support and direction towards the success of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The movement particularly acknowledged the role of Lagos as the political foundation of President Tinubu’s leadership journey, noting that the appointment of experienced Lagos figures into critical campaign positions demonstrates the confidence placed in the state’s political structure and human capital.
According to the group, the appointments will further strengthen the campaign machinery ahead of the 2027 presidential election while bringing together experienced hands capable of advancing grassroots mobilisation, communication, policy advocacy, and election coordination.
