"KEEP OFF”: EFCC Flags Victoria Island High-Rise linked to Former Lagos Governorship Candidate, Property Developer- Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose Amid Alleged Fraud Probe





Drama unfolded in the highbrow Victoria Island area of Lagos as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly marked a high-rise development located at 68 Molade Okoya Thomas Street, off Ajose Adeogun Street, with a bold warning: “EFCC KEEP OFF.”


The high-rise development, reportedly linked to Levitikal Realties and Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, a former Lagos governorship candidate and property developer has come under the EFCCC ‘s radar amid an allegation of fraud investigation. The property was said to have been marked with another inscription reading: “EFCC Under Investigation — Keep Off.”




The development has reportedly become the subject of an EFCC investigation over alleged fraudulent activities, throwing fresh questions around the transactions and circumstances surrounding the multi-storey property.


The EFCC’s action has sparked curiosity in the upscale neighbourhood, with attention now focused on what may have triggered the commission’s intervention and whether further enforcement action could follow.





For now, the big questions remain: What exactly triggered the EFCC’s intervention? Who are the parties under investigation? And what happens next to the property? Until the commission or the parties involved provide further clarification, one thing appears unmistakable: the message reportedly displayed on the building is hard to miss—
