Justice For Ajiran Leaders: Court Remands Ahmed Tajudeen In Alleged Murder Case

The trial of Ahmed Tajudeen the principal suspect in the alleged murder of two prominent sons of the Ajiran Community in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State resumed on Wednesday at the Lagos State High Court, Igbosere, after a delay of more than six months.

The case, which was heard in Court 8 before Hon. Justice Abdul-Raheem Muyideen, took a new turn as the defendant was brought into the courtroom in a wheelchair due to his reported medical condition.

During the proceedings, the defendant's lead counsel, Barrister Adedotun Ajulo, pleaded with the court to grant his client bail to enable him to receive adequate medical attention.

Counsel urged the court to consider the defendant's health condition and allow him to access the necessary medical care while the trial continues.

However, in his ruling, Hon. Justice Abdul-Raheem Muyideen denied the defendant's bail application.

The judge directed that the defendant be returned to the custodial facility in Ikoyi, Lagos, where he would be allowed to receive the medical attention he requires.

The court subsequently adjourned the case until November 3, 2026, for further  proceedings.
