AUOMMATON Hails Adeola’s Emergence as Ogun APC Consensus Candidate, Commends Tinubu




The Amalgamated Union of Motor Mechanics and Technicians of Nigeria (AUOMMATON) has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.

In a press statement signed by its National President, Engr. Dr. Oseni Suleiman, the union described Adeola’s emergence as a “well-deserved reward for years of dedication, integrity, and impactful public service.”

According to the union, Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, grassroots connection, and a strong commitment to the welfare of ordinary Nigerians, particularly artisans and small-scale entrepreneurs.

“His emergence through consensus is a clear reflection of the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership capacity and his ability to unite diverse political interests for the progress of Ogun State,” the statement said.

AUOMMATON noted that the lawmaker’s track record in empowerment initiatives and advocacy for the working class has positively impacted many lives, expressing optimism that his candidacy signals a new phase of inclusive governance and economic development for the state.

The union also commended Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his role in ensuring cohesion within the APC, describing his leadership as instrumental in fostering internal democracy and unity within the party.

It stated that Tinubu’s “visionary leadership and commitment to democratic ideals” have continued to strengthen the party’s structures and promote credible candidate selection processes across the country.

The statement further expressed confidence that Adeola, if elected governor, would leverage his experience in public finance and governance to drive infrastructural development, job creation, and economic growth in Ogun State.

AUOMMATON therefore called on party members, stakeholders, and residents of the state to support Adeola’s candidacy, stressing that his leadership represents a pathway to sustainable development and improved livelihoods.

The union reaffirmed its support for the APC candidate and wished him success in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
