JANDOR Mourns The Passing of Oto-Awori LCDA Chairman



Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR) has expressed deep sadness over the news of the passing of Hon. Prince Musbau Adekunle Ashafa, the Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area.

Hon. Ashafa who is the son of Onijanikin of Ijanikin kingdom, HRM Oba Momodu Ashafa was announced dead earlier on Saturday after a protracted illness. 

These were contained in a statement signed by Gbenga Ogunleye, spokesperson of Jandor and dated Saturday June 13, 2025.

Dr. Adediran described Hon. Ashafa as a dedicated public servant who gave his all to the development of his community. He extolls his commitment to grassroots governance and the welfare of the people of Oto-Awori which was evident in his years of selfless service.

"The death of Hon. Ashafa is a painful loss, not just to his family and the people of Oto-Awori, but to the entire state. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Oto-Awori community. May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanah Firdaus", JANDOR said.
