Ooni of Ife's Comments On Tinubu's 2023 Agenda Is Correct! -Why Yorubas Should Support Bola Tinubu's 2023 Presidential Ambition

Image
At an event marking the 6th year coronation of Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi ( the Ojaja II), he said in his speech that other Yoruba leaders should support Asiwaju i.e Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's 2023 presidential aspiration. He (Ooni) mentioned that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu never got to the position of national hero by accident, but by God's intention. As usual, some Yoruba leaders have been warning our revered King not to throw his weight behind any aspirant for the presidency in 2023. The question is this, how many aspirants of Yoruba origin have popularity that crosses the borders of their states? The truth is this, currently, Yoruba has three people who might contest for the position of the Nigerian President under the APC, which is the ruling party in 2023. Number one among them is the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the second person is the current Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and the third person is the nation's Vice President,

Former governor Ibikunle Amosun may have surreptitiously begun the second phase of his move to control the Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the decision of the national leadership of the party. The former governor and his co-travellers were alleged to be behind a concocted list of chairmen of the APC across the 36 states of the federation, where Derin Adebiyi was mentioned as the chairman of the party in Ogun State. Sources revealed that this was done to confuse the members of the party in the state and “start another round of crisis, when the issues have been resolved during the Congress by the national leadership of the party.” The list was released on Friday December 10, 2021. It will be recalled that while Amosun faction of the party, which held it’s state Congress at Ake Palace was not recognized by the party at the center, the authentic faction of the party, which held it’s Congress at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta elected Chief Yemi Sanusi as
