All Progressives Congress National Leader and presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has undergone a successful screening process before the Chief John Odigie Oyegun-led APC Screening Committee.  The Committee screening the 23 aspirants contesting to be President of Nigeria on the platform of APC is holding the exercise at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja. The primary election for Ado-Odo/Ota, Ogun State Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives for the All Progressives Congress (APC) was allegedly nearly disrupted by agents of Hon. Jimoh Ojugbele, the incumbent Reps member from the area. Recall that the primary election was postponed on Friday May 27, 2022 to Sunday May 29 due to logistics problem.   Hon. Yinka Kazeem has defeated Hon. Abdulsobur Olayiwola Olawale, currently representing Mushin Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, to secure the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election. The primary election held at New City Primary School, Mushin, and was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission. Announcing the result, the Chairman of a three-man APC Electoral Committee, Mr Abiodun Salami, said  that Kazeem scored 16 votes, while Olawale scored 11. Salami said that 30 ad-hoc delegates were drawn from the six wards in the constituency. According to him, 29 were accredited and they voted, while one was absent.
