In a statement signed by the President Dr. Agwu Onyeke and 13 other country heads, ANPE believes the COAS and his troops have given them something to cheer about.  The umbrella group of Nigerian professionals in Europe made this known in a communique issued at the end of a virtual emergency general meeting to assess the state of affairs in their home country with regards to the war against terrorism and other acts of militancy across the country.  After extensive deliberations on the various topical issues, ANPE applauded the Army and his troops for the stead

The Progressive Yoruba Youth Council (PYYC) has heaped praises on Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General T.Y Buratai and his troops over a ruthless onslaught on Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists that left over 150 of them dead in Buni Gari, Yobe State.  PYYC said that the current push by the Nigerian Army is a renewal of the resolve to cap progress made since President Muhammadu Buhari took over the helms of affairs in 2015.  In a statement signed by National Coordinator, Comrade Kola Salau, on Monday, the Yoruba youths attributed this latest feat to Lt. Gen Buratai’s presence at the Theatre of Operations. To go with the conducive environment his presence availed, PYYC also believes the COAS’ high level intelligence gathering, motivation and top-notch strategies gave the troops victory. The group added that Lt. Gen Buratai should be applauded for taking out time to visit various military camps across the Northeast, including the Special Super Camp Ngamdu in K

It has been gathered that troops of Sector 2 command of Operation Lafiya Dole have killed over 100 Boko Haram terrorists in Buni Gari, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State. According to a top military source, the operation was carried out using the new operational strategy introduced by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General T.Y Buratai, who is now in charge of the activities of Theatre Command of Operation Lafiya Dole. “The new operational policy of the Chief of Army Staff is yielding the desired results as the Boko Haram group have been enduring a hard time recently. We had credible Intel that a part of the group felt they needed to take their destinies into their hands, embarking on a headless journey outside the Timbuktu Triangle. Unfortunately, however, they met their waterloo,” our source said. “I can tell you that the revised operational code of conduct has an emphasis on credible Intel and this is responsible for the feat recorded in Buni Gari. Boko Haram/ISWAP: PMB As Another Nostradamus By Gabriel Onoja

“The future will show whether my foresight is as accurate now as it has proved heretofore.” –Nikola Tesla Writer Nikola Tesla has made a definitive exposition on the power of foresight on the future and its rewarding potency in needy times, if appropriate preparations are finalized today. Clairvoyance in leaders is an indispensable and powerful asset. It gives the leader, a calculative mind that predicts what is to come and the best means to reposition in the immediate to absorb the unexpected.  A leader who is barren of foresight is like a General without troops.  President Muhammadu Buhari is one gifted leader, with the exceptional ability to glimpse the future like a soothsayer. And uses this rare power to initiate and embark on actions that will salvage any dimension of an ugly scenario in the future.  He sees tomorrow coming and prepares for it. Insecurities have been the bane of Nigeria under President Buhari. But the President has not been overwhelmed by its mult

My attention has been drawn to an article by one Felix S. Banye (?) captioned: DISTORTIONS AND ILLOGICAL THINKING: RESPONSE TO “IDUMUJE-UGBOKO KINGSHIP TUSSLE: OUR STORY, OUR CASE- WRITTEN BY WALTERS ONYEISI UGOCHUKWU EZIASHI (President-General – IUDU (2008 – 2012).  Ordinarily, I would have not dignified Felix S. Banye (?) with a response as the article is as shallow, baseless, truly illogical and full of distortions like the writer. May I humbly ask: Who are the we you refer to in your introductory? Although I didn’t ask to get answer as am not expecting any, but suffice it to say that whoever is your we, singular or plural is and or are bundles of disappointment and disgrace to Idumuje-Ugboko and to humanity. You will never know why I enjoy telling the world I was a President-General of Idumuje-Ugboko Development Union (IUDU) because of your myopic reasoning, envy and jealousy to everything done by someone else. I am proud to be associated with that office because under
