Shareholders of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc have approved a final dividend of N3.00 per share for the 2024 financial year ended December 31. The final dividend and the N2.00 per share interim dividend paid in October 2024, brought the total dividend for the year to N5.00, amounting to a pay-out ratio of 26.6 per cent. The shareholders also re-elected Mr Tony Elumelu as the Chairman, Board of Directors at the 63rd Annual General Meeting of the bank in Abuja on Friday. Mr Ben Ejenbi, a shareholder, commended the continuous growth and efforts of the managers of the bank which he said had culminated to the consistent progress and growth recorded.
