Ogun Reps: Akinosi, GNI, Akinlade Make APC List




Engineer Tunji Akinosi from Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka aka GNI, from Egbado North/
Afon Federal Constituency and Rt. Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade from Egbado South/Ipokia Federal Constituency are parts of the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), whose names were submitted for the 2023 general elections into the Federal House of Representatives.

Others who make the list are Hon. Olumide Osoba (Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda), Hon. Afolabi Afuape (Abeokuta South), Hon. Ibrahim A. Isiaka (Ifo/Ewekoro), Hon. J.F Adegbesan (Ijebu North/East/Ogun Waterside), Barrister Femi Ogunbanwo (Ijebu Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North-East) and Barrister Dewunmi Onanuga (Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North.

The names have since been submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by the leadership of the party.

CSOs Demand Urgent Police Investigation Into Alleged Murder of Ishola Salami

Civil Society groups, including the Centre for Human and Socio-economic Rights (CHSR), Frontline Socio-economic Research Centre (FSERC), Campaign Against Impunity (CIA), Centre for the Physically Challenged and Peoples Rights (CPCPR), Community Women Initiative (CWI) and Workbond Initiative Network (WIN) have called for investigations into the death of Mr Ishola Salami by the Nigeria Police. United States of America (USA)-based groups; Ogoni-American Organisation, the National Union of Ogoni Students International (NUOS INTL USA), the Center for Democracy Human Rights and Anti-Corruption International (CDHRAC INT'L USA), and the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP) has written a letter to Shell Oil, United Kingdom on the purported onshore oil sale of Shell activities in Ogoni, Niger Delta, Nigeria.
