  There is palpable tension In River state at the moment starting from the fire outbreak at the state’s house of assembly over reports that lawmakers are planning to serve impeachment notice to the Governor Sim Fubara. Before anyone could say jack, Governor Sim Fubara ordered the sack of his chief of staff and chief security officer who were former aides of his predecessor, Nyesom Wike. The state house of assembly has now removed the majority leader who is loyal to the former governor while lawmakers loyal to the current governor have reportedly impeached the speaker. The Federal Government on Friday launched a pilot phase of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses, announcing waiver of Value Added Tax (VAT) on CNG purchased vehicles. Engineer Micheal Oluwagbemi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Presidential CNG Initiative (P-CNGi) disclosed, in a statement to newsmen, that the initiative on Friday handed over converted buses to State House in Abuja. A House of Representatives caucus has applauded President Bola Tinubu and the Group CEO of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Engr. Mele Kyari for reviving the oil and gas sector. The Friends of the Masses, a caucus consisting of over 50 members drawn from across the country, made this known in a joint statement signed by Hon. Abiola Anike Olaseeni, an unassuming talented Nollywood actress, is set to bury her late dad, Engr. Olaseeni Abiodun Julius, who passed away weeks ago at 70 years. A resident of Lagos State, Mr Olufemi Omoola Fasheun has cried out to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police over an alleged plan by some people to take over his father's property.
