You’re A Man Of Destiny, Olagoke Felicitates Olubadan On His Birthday




 
The Founder and Spiritual Head of Shafaudeen in Islam Worldwide and the Mogaji of Ogun -Elu, Aare Alasa dynasty Ibadan Land, Oyo State, Professor Sabit Olagoke, JP, has hailed the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Moshood Olalekan Balogun Alli Okunmade 1 for his immense impact and great contributions to the progress of Ibadan and Oyo State.
 
The Cleric described Olubadan  as a patriot and politician with a difference, noting that his efforts and support towards the success of Ibadan are notable.
 
Professor Olagoke stated this while congratulating the Olubadan in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan.  
 
He said: “I, on behalf of the entire Shafaudeen in lslam and the descendants of Ogun -Elu Ibadan and Ejemu family of Ejigbo Mekun, felicitate the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Olalekan Balogun, on his 81st birthday. Ki Ade ki o pe lori, ki Bata ko pe lese, ki esin Oba ki o je oko pe pe pe.
 
“I celebrate your life of service to humanity and recognise your contributions to the growth and progress of Ibadanland and our dear state, as a patriot, elder statesman  and a business mogul.
 
“It is my prayer that God will preserve you and sustain you for your exemplary roles so you can be of greater service to humanity. Remain blessed sir, our imperial majesty as you continue to motivate us on exemplary and credible leadership."

CSOs Demand Urgent Police Investigation Into Alleged Murder of Ishola Salami

Civil Society groups, including the Centre for Human and Socio-economic Rights (CHSR), Frontline Socio-economic Research Centre (FSERC), Campaign Against Impunity (CIA), Centre for the Physically Challenged and Peoples Rights (CPCPR), Community Women Initiative (CWI) and Workbond Initiative Network (WIN) have called for investigations into the death of Mr Ishola Salami by the Nigeria Police. United States of America (USA)-based groups; Ogoni-American Organisation, the National Union of Ogoni Students International (NUOS INTL USA), the Center for Democracy Human Rights and Anti-Corruption International (CDHRAC INT'L USA), and the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP) has written a letter to Shell Oil, United Kingdom on the purported onshore oil sale of Shell activities in Ogoni, Niger Delta, Nigeria.
