Public Holiday Affects Only Civil Servants-OGSG



The work-free day declared by the Ogun State Government is only meant for civil and public servants in the state.

This clarification was made by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade in a statement on Friday.

Akinmade noted that the work-free day is not applicable to the private sector, adding that it was the reason why the circular was issued by the Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Kehinde Onasanya.

According to him, the government took the decision to allow civil servants travel to their local governments and participate in tomorrow's council polls across the state.
