The entrance of Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi into politics may have been providential. For those who know, it was the progressive mentorship he received from Rt Hon Usman Zumunta Musa, (one time Deputy Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, now late) in the early years of his sojourn that unlocked his potentials for meaningful contributions to his people, state and indeed nation. The manner, with which he took his fate headlong, changed the course for the better for the people; who deserve his intervention in various ways over the years. Even if some people did not give him the chance to be impactful on the political turf; it was because some had thought he was young with youthful exuberance. FrieslandCampina WAMCO has tendered its unreserved apology to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) as well as to the Christian community at large for the recent Good Friday post on the Peak brand’s social media handle.  The company said in a statement dated Tuesday April 11, 2023 that it "acknowledged the sensitivity of the social media post considering the sobriety of the season.  "It was neither intended to make light of the significance of the season nor to inordinately exploit the unmatched sacrifice of Jesus Christ." The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that it is aware of a campaign of calumny against its Governorship Candidate and other candidates in the state in the 2023 General Elections. In view of this, the party urged its numerous supporters that it remains unshaken in its belief that democracy has come to stay in Nigeria, adding that "we will not allow some undesirable elements truncate what we all fought for and which we should enjoy together."
