Elections: Vote, Avoid Violence -Lagos Lawmaker, Gbolahan Yishawu Advises Nigerians

Member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Eti-Osa constituency 02, Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu has called on Nigerians and his constituents in particular to shun any forms of violence during Saturday polls and show love to one another.
Yishawu in his valentine message to his constituents on Thursday preached peace and love, saying that people should make sure they avoid fight during and after the elections.
According to him, this season, let vote and tolerance be the watchwords. Vote and not fight. We should also maintain peace and order.
It would be recalled that every 14th February marks the celebration of Valentine where lovers show love to one another.
Hon. Yishawu therefore called on his constituents and Nigerians generally to vote for all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the country, saying that their votes for the party will bring about new development and job creation.
"The party in the last four years has done well in terms of development, road infrastructure and power amongst others. On this note, I urge Nigerians and my constituents not to sell their conscience and vote peacefully," he said.
He therefore wished Nigerians and his constituents happy Valentine day and elections free of violence.
