Hundreds of Students Graduate From Aerovessel Group of Schools ... Institution Bestows Awards On Individuals, Corporates Bodies, Associations …As Experts Speak On Aviation, Tourism, Hospitality and Information Technology



 
Hundreds of students trained in various skills spanning aviation, tourism, hospitality and information technology have graduated from Aerovessel Group of Schools.
 
 
 

 
 
 
The graduation ceremony, which held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, took place at Novatel Hotel, New Road off Chevron, Lekki, Lagos.
 

 
The graduates were trained in hospitality, artisans and business management, aviation and tourism management, cargo handling and logistics, as well as information technology.
 
 

 
The event was also used by the school to bestow awards on several deserving individuals, corporate bodies and associations.
 
 

 
Speaking at the event, the Chief Host and Director of Studies of Aerovessel Group of Schools, Hon. (Dr) Abolaji Kelani, urged the graduates to be worthy ambassadors of the institution and to add value to their respective fields.





Dr Kelani noted that Aerovessel Group of Schools is renowned for its high standards and remains committed to producing graduates who will positively impact the aviation, tourism and hospitality industries as well as information technology.





 
Addressing the students, their parents and well-wishers, he said that the institution was established to provide skilled manpower for the aviation, tourism and hospitality sectors, while also contributing to the reduction of unemployment in the country.
 

 
“We thank God for a day like this. The students have acquired diverse skills that will prepare them for the future. I believe Aerovessel Group of Schools is one of the best institutions around, and we are determined to continue producing competent professionals for the aviation, tourism and hospitality industries.
 

 
“Over the years, we have produced graduates, who are working assiduously for the growth and promotion of these industries. Our products are our testimonies.
 

 
“We want to assure members of the public that we will not relent in our efforts, as the school is determined to keep raising the bar in the aviation, tourism and hospitality sectors.
 

 
“We provide training in hospitality, artisans and business management, aviation and tourism management, cargo handling and logistics, and information technology; all designed to equip students for success in today’s global industries.
 

 
“With expert instructors and hands-on training, Aerovessel prepares students to become certified professionals and industry leaders,” Dr Kelani added.
 

 
The Chairman of the occasion was the National President of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), Alhaji Aliyu Badaki (PhD), while the Grand Patron was the National President of the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria, Chief Abiodun Odusanwo.
 

 
Speakers at the ceremony included Professor H. A. Bakare of the Department of Hospitality Management, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB); the National President of the Nigerian Association of Tour Operators (NATOP), Hajia Bolaji Mustapha; and the Vice President of FTAN, South-West Zone, Dr Gbenga Sunmonu.
 

 
The speakers addressed various topics covering the aviation, tourism, hospitality industries and information technology, and emphasised the need for the graduates to strive for excellence in their chosen careers.
 

 
Dr Kelani further stated that the students had been adequately trained to provide quality human resources for the aviation, tourism and hospitality sectors, stressing that the institution would continue to position itself as a leader in the industry.
 

He also called on government at all levels to support training institutions such as Aerovessel Group of Schools, noting that such support would help improve standards and enhance their contribution to national development.
 

 
The recipients of the awards also thanked the organisation for the honour bestowed on them.
