2019: Vote Wisely, Reps Member, Jide Jimoh Tells Nigerians -Woos PDP Members To APC





A lawmaker representing Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency, Hon. Olajide Jimoh has called on Nigerians particularly his constituents to vote wisely in the 2019 general elections.

The lawmaker who was the Chairman at the 2nd edition of Abule-Ijesha Day held over the weekend in Lagos urged people to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) and vote the progressive party.

The community day tagged, "Propelling Developmental Change" brought together dignitaries from all parts of the State".
 

Hon. Jimoh told his constituents to vote for the Candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general elections.

However, the House of Representatives member also wooed members of the Peoples Democratic Party member, Tajudeen Jaiyeola Agoro to join the Progressives.

"He is my brother, but I advised him to leave PDP for APC so as to move Lagos Mainland Federal constituency to the greater height", he added.

Meanwhile, he  urged the youths to do away with thuggery, cowboy tactics and arm-twisting, and contribute meaningfully to the development of the community

In their goodwill messages, Lt. Gen Oladipo Diya (Rtd) and the former Chief Whip, House of Representatives; Hon Wale Oshun urged the people of Abule-Ijesha to work together and support the traditional rulers. They also welcome advice from the traditional ruler in order to maintain social harmony, peaceful coexistence  and development in the community.

The Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Kayode Omiyale also affirmed the government plans to ensure development of the community. He also promised that Akinsola road will be completed soonest.

"This event was an indication that the people of Abule-Ijesha lived in harmony," he said.
