JANDOR Still In The Race To Deliver Lagos For The People-PDP



The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has restated the  resolution of its Governorship Candidate on the state, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran aka Jandor, to contest and win the March 18, 2023 guber election in the state. 
 
The party said in a statement dated March 17, 2023 that it became imperative to clear the air on the spreading propaganda that the Lagos PDP has collapsed her structure for another opposition party. 
 
The party then enjoined the voters and faithful members of the PDP to remain committed to the party and work hard tomorrow to deliver victory for the party. 
 
The statement was issued by the Lagos State PDP Publicity Secretary & Chairman, Media & Publicity Team for JANDOR/Funke Campaign Council, Hakeem Amode and made available to journalists.
 
Amode encouraged "the good people of Lagos State to ignore any rumour from any quarters and come out in good numbers to exercise their franchise and vote for the PDP as the only credible alternative to the inept outgoing APC."
 
“We will work with the law enforcement agencies in the provision of conventional and unconventional security to protect Lagosians as they vote tomorrow.
 
"Nothing will stop the will of the people to change this government and install a breath of fresh air in Lagos State," the party said," the statement read.

CSOs Demand Urgent Police Investigation Into Alleged Murder of Ishola Salami

Civil Society groups, including the Centre for Human and Socio-economic Rights (CHSR), Frontline Socio-economic Research Centre (FSERC), Campaign Against Impunity (CIA), Centre for the Physically Challenged and Peoples Rights (CPCPR), Community Women Initiative (CWI) and Workbond Initiative Network (WIN) have called for investigations into the death of Mr Ishola Salami by the Nigeria Police.
