Tinubu Was More Determined Than Atiku, Obi To Become President-Primate Ayodele

The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele has said that the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 General Elections is more spiritual than political.

Primate Ayodele said during the launch of his annual prophecy book, titled “Warning to the Nations,” which took place in his church premises in Lagos on Saturday July 1, 2023 that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, were not desperate to win the election unlike Tinubu, who he said gave the election all that it required.

Ayodele said that Atiku and Peter Obi were preoccupied with irrelevant issues, which he said gave Tinubu, who he said was more spiritually prepared and desperate, an advantage that ultimately led to his victory.

"Tinubu was prepared economically, legally, financially, politically, and spiritually for the polls.

"When someone says "Emilokan," you might say it is ordinary. Tinubu's victory is not political, it is spiritual. He kept saying "Emilokan," and it is not ordinary. But Atiku and Peter Obi were not that serious.

"I don't have anything against Bola Tinubu, infact we are from the same local government in Osun State. He is a nice man," he said.

Ayodele however, expressed doubt about the effectiveness of the election petition tribunal, dismissing it as a futile waste of time and resources.

On the 10th National Assembly, the cleric said that the members would be mere rubber stamp, and that the new Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio would not do anything against the government.

While saying that corruption could not be erased from the Nigerian system, the man of God said that the security agencies would do better if they do what is needful and are sincere.

He stated further that President Bola Tinubu would have problems with the Governors, former governors, and the northerners, who he said would think he had come for a revenge mission.

He revealed that the nation's economy would not be stable until 2026 and that the Students Loan is a good programme, but that it is not realistic.

The cleric then urged the Nigerian government to give room for press freedom to make the government better.

"Some people tagged me a prophet of the opposition party, when I spoke against the government, but they were happy with me when I praised them.

"This government should allow for criticisms so that they can see where they are wrong and improve on them.

"I don't see the government doing anything against the church, mosques or prophets. The government would be better than that of former president Muhammadu Buhari.

"They might probe the Buhari government, but they would not be able to achieve much on that," he said.

On the forthcoming Governorship Election in Kogi State, he said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would win if the opposition do not form a coalition, and urged the Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to do his best if he did not want to be defeated by the APC candidate in the governorship election in the state.

He said further that with free and fair election in Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodinma would lose the forthcoming Governorship Election, and that the Labour Party has more chances of victory in the election.

On the Igbos in Nigeria, he said that they are the problems of themselves and that he could not see an Igbo man emerging the Nigerian President soon with the loss of the 2023 general election.

He said that the current government would not have anything against the Igbos, but that they would have many things against the government.

He noted that the nation needed a youthful president to fight for the them, and that they need the intervention of God for them to benefit from the system.

Going down memory lane, he said that the story of "Warning To The Nations," started 29 years ago, while thanking God that he is still alive to continue the project. He then appreciated the journalists for their support for his ministry over the years.

"I thank God for your lives. I appreciate all of you that are dedicated to our work. I am blessed to have you passing our information to the people. We thank you for your support and we will continue to empower you for being there for us.

"We will soon empower some of you with landed properties, and we will do a special programme for the indigents on October 8, 2023 and give out expensive houses for rents at cheap rates.

"The government has not been rewarding journalists, and when there is no information, the world is not existing. If not for God and you, our church would not be known," he said.
