Lagos PDP Congratulates AbdulAzeez Adediran (JANDOR), Party's Governorship Candidate In 2023

 




The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR),  Governorship Candidate in the 2023 General Elections.

The party then expressed "our heartfelt wishes for your continued well-being, health, and prosperity. Your unwavering dedication to humanity is recognized, and we believe that with divine grace, you will have more strength, abilities, and opportunities to serve the people of Lagos State and Nigeria."

These were contained in a statement signed by the Lagos State PDP Publicity Secretary, Hon. Hakeem Amode dated November 25, 2023.

Amode stated that Jandor beyond the conventional politician, and that he stands as a leader with a distinctive vision. 

It was added in the statement that his tireless efforts in articulating plans for the people of Lagos State have not gone unnoticed. 

"Your purposeful existence has already achieved significant milestones, and we are confident that more opportunities to showcase your capabilities lie ahead.

"As the best choice for the people of Lagos State, we are proud of your talents and consider you a valuable gift to your family, hometown, Lagos State, and Nigeria. The PDP pledges unwavering support and protection as you continue your journey. 

"We firmly stand with you, anticipating that your aspirations to serve the people will align with divine design.

"Happy birthday once again, and may this celebration be filled with joy. Continue to lead and inspire your followers as our Governor-In-Waiting," he said.

CSOs Demand Urgent Police Investigation Into Alleged Murder of Ishola Salami

Civil Society groups, including the Centre for Human and Socio-economic Rights (CHSR), Frontline Socio-economic Research Centre (FSERC), Campaign Against Impunity (CIA), Centre for the Physically Challenged and Peoples Rights (CPCPR), Community Women Initiative (CWI) and Workbond Initiative Network (WIN) have called for investigations into the death of Mr Ishola Salami by the Nigeria Police. United States of America (USA)-based groups; Ogoni-American Organisation, the National Union of Ogoni Students International (NUOS INTL USA), the Center for Democracy Human Rights and Anti-Corruption International (CDHRAC INT'L USA), and the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP) has written a letter to Shell Oil, United Kingdom on the purported onshore oil sale of Shell activities in Ogoni, Niger Delta, Nigeria.
