Lagos PDP Congratulates Hakeem Adebayo On His Birthday Anniversary




The Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated a chieftain of the party, Alhaji Hakeem Adebayo as he celebrates his birthday on Thursday December 14, 2023.

Hon. Hakeem Amode, the PDP's Publicity Secretary in the state, said in a statement dated December 14, 2023 and entitled; "Happy Birthday Alhaji Hakeem Adebayo," that the PDP "joyfully celebrates the birthday of Alhaji Hakeem Adebayo, a distinguished leader in Kosofe Local Government Area and at the state level."

Hon. Amode stated that "Alhaji Adebayo's invaluable leadership roles at both the local and state levels are highly appreciated."

The party acknowledged and commended Adebayo's significant contributions during the recent general elections in the state.

The Publicity Secretary added that the special day marks an opportunity for Alhaji Adebayo to reflect on past years and anticipate a brighter future. 

The Lagos PDP then expressed happiness in joining the celebration, and emphasised that his unwavering commitment and love for the party have not gone unnoticed.

"Alhaji Adebayo is recognized as a dependable ally, a cheerful companion, and a devoted party member who has consistently demonstrated his worth over the years. In the eyes of the Lagos PDP, he is not just a gift but a blessing to the party.

"His impactful contributions to the growth of the PDP in Kosofe Local Government and the state, coupled with his transformative activities as a politician, have touched numerous lives.

"On this special occasion, the Lagos PDP extends heartfelt birthday wishes to Alhaji Hakeem Adebayo, anticipating many more joyous celebrations and fruitful years ahead in the land of the living," he said.

CSOs Demand Urgent Police Investigation Into Alleged Murder of Ishola Salami

Civil Society groups, including the Centre for Human and Socio-economic Rights (CHSR), Frontline Socio-economic Research Centre (FSERC), Campaign Against Impunity (CIA), Centre for the Physically Challenged and Peoples Rights (CPCPR), Community Women Initiative (CWI) and Workbond Initiative Network (WIN) have called for investigations into the death of Mr Ishola Salami by the Nigeria Police. United States of America (USA)-based groups; Ogoni-American Organisation, the National Union of Ogoni Students International (NUOS INTL USA), the Center for Democracy Human Rights and Anti-Corruption International (CDHRAC INT'L USA), and the Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP) has written a letter to Shell Oil, United Kingdom on the purported onshore oil sale of Shell activities in Ogoni, Niger Delta, Nigeria.
