Primate Ayodele Releases 2025 Prophecies: Warnings to the Nation ...Says No Party Can Unseat President Tinubu Without Coalition ...Describes Donald Trump as a "Comedian President" ...Nigerian Economy Will Not Improve
Renowned cleric and spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has released his 2025 prophecies, highlighting political, economic, and social developments in Nigeria and beyond.
Speaking during a press briefing at his church premises on December 20, the cleric outlined significant warnings and predictions titled "Warnings to the Nation."
Predictions on Nigerian Politics and Governance
Primate Ayodele declared that unseating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections would be impossible without a coalition among opposition parties.
“No party can unseat President Bola Tinubu without a coalition. If opposition parties remain divided, Tinubu will retain office. The 2027 election will favor him if selfishness persists among the opposition,” he said.
He further noted that certain "forces" would hinder Tinubu's administration from achieving its full potential, particularly regarding economic reforms. According to him: "The Federal Government’s tax reforms will be mismanaged, causing suffering for the poor. Increment in salaries will ironically worsen economic hardship.
"The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will fail to stabilize the economy under Governor Yemi Cardoso. Denominations such as N100 and N200 may lose relevance in 2025 due to inflation."
Primate Ayodele also suggested that empowering farmers and ensuring food sufficiency could alleviate hardship for Nigerians.
Global Insights: Criticism of Donald Trump
On global matters, Ayodele described U.S. President-elect Donald Trump as a “comedian president” who would abuse power and promote racism and saying that there would be fluctuations in the U.S. economy and an increase in violence.
“It is unfortunate that Trump is returning as president. His administration will lead to economic instability and social disorder,” Ayodele stated.
Warnings on Nigeria’s Challenges
The cleric issued stern warnings about several pressing issues:
Floods and Food Scarcity: He predicted widespread flooding and worsening food scarcity in 2025.
Security Concerns: The police should anticipate law and order breakdowns in Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, and Bauchi, among other states.
Naira Redesign Fallout: The scarcity of certain denominations will create challenges for citizens.
Economic Mismanagement: Primate Ayodele criticized the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for inefficiency, predicting petrol prices could rise to N1,300 per liter.
He called for a change in NNPC management and highlighted the need for transparency. He also commended Aliko Dangote for his efforts in supporting Nigeria’s economy, though he acknowledged Dangote’s profit motives.
On Socio-Political Developments, Primate Ayodele made bold claims regarding various socio-political events:
Nnamdi Kanu: The IPOB leader will be released unconditionally, though the struggle in the Southeast will continue.
NYSC and Minimum Wage: Many ei.fsil to pay the newly approved minimum wage and the NYSC new allowance would not be paid by the Federal Government.
He advised Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State to handle the appointment of the new Alaafin of Oyo with care.
On corruption and governance, he said; "Majority of the people managing Nigeria are selfish and satanic," he said, urging leadership reforms.
For Chelsea Football Club, he predicted that the team would be stronger in 2025 and qualify for the Champions Cup.
Ayodele suggested hiring a foreign coach for Nigeria, saying that Austin Eguavoen cannot qualify Nigeria for the World Cup.
Primate Ayodele however, emphasized that Nigeria's problems require practical solutions rather than prayers alone.
He urged the government to focus on employment creation and youth empowerment to reduce societal vices like cybercrime.
He concluded by advising President Tinubu to take bold steps to address the nation’s challenges, adding that disobedience and lack of sincerity among leaders are the root causes of Nigeria’s suffering.
“Nigeria is in a coma, and without urgent action, the nation's woes will deepen,” he warned.
