2023: Oshodi Market Leader, Rasak Ajanaku Urges Nigerians To Vote For Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu






A market leader in Oshodi area of Lagos State and the Director General of Ajanaku/Alakoso for Tinubu/Shettima, Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat Teams Ambassador, High Chief Rasak Fasesan Ajanaku, has urged Nigerians to vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as President and Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Lagos Governor under the All Progressives Congress (APC).



Ajanaku, who doubles as the Babalaje General of Oshodi, advised Nigerians to embrace peace, forget the past, adding that the nation would fare better under Tinubu as President.


While advising the people to vote with love and conscience, Chief Ajanaku stated that Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu are dependable leaders.


"God has chosen them for us to guide us as His representatives. We want to advise our people to eschew anger, pride and all forms of hatred, and please let us forget the past so that there would be progress. 


"Look at what Asiwaju Bola Tinubu did as Lagos State governor before former governor Babatunde Fashola and former governor Akinwunmi Ambode got to power. 


"But if we don't have good leaders there would be problem. I know that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will transform Nigeria as president. As Governor, he worked with Igbos and Hausas, so he is not tribalistic," he said.


He added that Ajanaku Alakoso Tinubu/Shettima, Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat, talks about one love and one Nigeria as a group, and that some people love money, but that they don't love Nigerians.


He said; "some people don't love God and they don't love themselves. Our PVCs are our power, let us get them and vote for the APC, it will do us good. No matter what happens, Tinubu would do his best for Nigeria. I believe that God will help him to achieve his good intentions for the country."


On the crisis emanating from the new naira notes, Chief Ajanaku assured Nigerians that everything would be sorted out soon, saying that if there is no pain there would be no gain. 


"I believe that very soon, there would be new naira notes everywhere. In everything there would be saboteurs. People like Tinubu knows that the masses are suffering and when he gets to power, he knows what to do based on the suffering we are going through over new naira notes and fuel scarcity. 


"Only God can save, but we know that by His grace Tinubu would change Nigeria, when he gets to office. We pray that all of us would be alive to witness it," he said.

CSOs Demand Urgent Police Investigation Into Alleged Murder of Ishola Salami

Civil Society groups, including the Centre for Human and Socio-economic Rights (CHSR), Frontline Socio-economic Research Centre (FSERC), Campaign Against Impunity (CIA), Centre for the Physically Challenged and Peoples Rights (CPCPR), Community Women Initiative (CWI) and Workbond Initiative Network (WIN) have called for investigations into the death of Mr Ishola Salami by the Nigeria Police.
