Ogun Govt Drums Support For Super Falcons' WAFCON Qualification Campaign In Abeokuta



The African champions, the Super Falcons, will return to Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, to host the Women's National Team of Benin Republic in the final qualifying fixture for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

This match is scheduled for Tuesday, 28th October 2025, at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Kuto, Abeokuta.

The Super Falcons secured a 2-0 victory over their counterparts from Benin Republic on Friday, 24th October, in the first leg held in Lomé, Togo.

In a statement issued by the Ogun State Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, football fans in the state capital and beyond, are encouraged to come out and support the team as they strive for victory and promise an exciting display of football.

Kick-off is at 4 PM.
