In a press statement signed by the ASELGON National President, Hon. Albert Asipa, he lamented that the victim, a member of the association did not deserve such ungodly visitors who took away valuables including his wife's jewelries, his vehicle and all his bank's savings which they threatened him with gun to transfer to their accounts through forceful opening of his mobile apps during the raid.
Hon. Asipa, who commended the Ogun State Commissioner of Police for effective policing of the state urged him to see the incident at hand as another occurrence to test his might, expressing confidence in his ability to however show the robbers the stuff he's made of.
"The criminals are on daily basis proving their resilience and undeterred bravery to beat security agents, but little did they know and realize that our security agents are always ahead of them as the current case will soon prove by the grace of God.
"We want to assure the police of the ever support of our association in the task of making our country peaceful at all levels as we call for full investigation of this dastardly act and bring the culprits to book", ASELGON added.
While commending Hon. Gazal for cooperating with the hoodlums, not minding the weight of his loss, the President remarked that the victim did the best thing by self- preserving his life by not engaging in any form of struggle that could have led to the culprits pulling the trigger.
According to Hon. Asipa, "it was a lesson for all. Nothing in life is worth trading one's life with because when there's life, there's hope. Our good Lord will replenish and cause restoration of the lost items in multiple folds".
