Abiodun, Sanwo-Olu, Four Other Govs In UK With Tinubu



Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu-Olu, are among the six governors that accompanied President Bola Tinubu to the United Kingdom as part of his delegation for his two-day visit, sources have said.

According to reports, the four other governors are Dikko Rada (Katsina), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), Peter Mbah (Enugu) and Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom).

The governors, it was learnt, would use the opportunity of the history visit to meet with captains of industry and discuss investment opportunities in their various states.

The Coalition of Civil Society Organisations in collaboration with the Centre for Citizens’ Rights has urged the Inspector General of Police to rebuild public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force. Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, the President of the Coalition, Adeyemi Olorunsogo and its Secretary, Kolawole Abe Emmanuel, said Nigerians expect professionalism, impartiality, and accountability from the leadership of the Force.
