Nigerian First Lady, Remi Tinubu, Visits Former President Muhammadu Buhari ...Says Visit Is To Check His Well-Being, Expresses Gratitude

 



First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, (CON) with former president Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana SHettima and the wife of the Katsina State Governor, Hajia Dikko Radda at the country home of the former president of Nigeria on Thursday during the courtesy visit.



Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (CON) on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR at HOS Daura resident in Katsina State. 

The First Lady, who was accompanied on the visit by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, said that the visit was to check on the former president and thank him for his fatherly. 

She prayed for long life, and good health, while seeking more support from him, not only for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but for Nigeria as a whole. 

In his brief remarks after the visit, the former president expressed appreciation to the First Lady, noting that the visit, which was to see how he is settling down to life after public office, was remarkable.

"As you can all see, she came to check up on me and see that I am doing okay," he said.




Former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR exchanging pleasantries with the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima and his son, Yusuf Buhari at his Daura home when the duo of the First Lady and wife of the Vice President.



Others, who were there with the First Lady were wife of the Katsina State Governor, Hajia Dikko Radda and wife of the Speaker of Katsina State House of Assembly, Hajia Nasir Daura among other female chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

CSOs Demand Urgent Police Investigation Into Alleged Murder of Ishola Salami

Civil Society groups, including the Centre for Human and Socio-economic Rights (CHSR), Frontline Socio-economic Research Centre (FSERC), Campaign Against Impunity (CIA), Centre for the Physically Challenged and Peoples Rights (CPCPR), Community Women Initiative (CWI) and Workbond Initiative Network (WIN) have called for investigations into the death of Mr Ishola Salami by the Nigeria Police.
