Aeroland Kicks Off Campaign, Shares 10000 Phones, 1000 LCD Plasma TV, 1000 Generators




Otunba Segun Adewale, popularly known as Aeroland, the Senatorial Candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in  Lagos West Senatorial District, comprising  10 Local Governments, kicked off his campaign on Wednesday amidst fun fare and cheers from admirers across Ikeja, Agege and Ifako Ijaiye areas of Lagos State.

Addressing supporters and admirers alike, he assured them of effective representation devoid of godfatherism.

It was a curious session with the voters as they engaged him in the quest to know if he won’t behave like others who only show up when their votes are needed only to come back after 4 yrs to with same retorhics.

These were contained in a statement signed by the Head, New Media Strategy & Communication, Segun Adewale Campaign Organization, Mr. Adeleke Ogunsanya.

Otunba Segun Adewale reportedly told the people how the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government has always robbed him of victory over the years and assured, who believe in rigging would fail with the use of BVAS in the 2023 general elections.

He however, urged them to cast their votes for him, the party's presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the PDP governorship candidate in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran aka Jandor and wait to defend the votes till the authentic winners are declared.

While still on the tour, he met with a meat seller by the road side and gifted him an LCD TV with N500,000 to help his business and rent a shop.

This elicited emotions from members of the public who were almost moved to tears. It was indeed a frenzied moment as people went into wild jubilation.

The campaign was rounded off at the Opebi area of Ikeja, where he met with artisans and gifted them N1.5m to enable them purchase working tools for some of their apprentices, who have graduated but have no hope where to raise funds to start their business.

 

He assured them of continuous empowerment if elected as the next senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District.
